Redacción LAVOZviernes, 15 de octubre de 2021 hsThe General Directorate of Customs (DGA) arrested a woman on Friday at Ushuaia airport accused of having ingested 41 cocaine capsules and having tried to hide a package of that drug attached to her body.
DGA personnel carried out a procedure at the airport detected the nervousness of a woman and proceeded to inspection of her hand luggage and identification.
According to the report, the passenger showed being uncomfortable at the consultations and had difficult to answer simple questions about the trip until he revealed that he had ingested 41 drug capsules and that he had another package attached to his body.
In total, the suspect carried inside his body half a kilo of drugs.
He agreed to be a “mule” of drugs to pay an operation of his son, arrested her and was now acquitted
Customs agents gave intervention to justice and airport security police (PSA) and the transfer of women to the Regional Hospital was arranged.She there eliminated 41 capsules during the night and she was stopped without having presented major health setbacks, the sources said.
