The Ministry of Public Health informs that on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, eight deaths were recorded due to COVID-19.
The deceased are: an 85 -year -old woman, a native of Capital, who remained hospitalized in the San Juan Sanatorium;a 97 -year -old woman, in capital, admitted to the San Juan Sanatorium;An 87 -year -old woman, from Pocito, admitted to Dr. Federico Cantoni hospital;A 92 -year -old woman, in capital, admitted to Dr. Marcial Quiroga hospital;An 85 -year -old woman from Jáchal, admitted to the San Roque Hospital;An 86 -year -old man from Angaco, admitted to Dr. José Giordano hospital;A 77 -year -old man, of May 25, admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rawson hospital;And a 75 -year -old man, from July 9, admitted to the private hospital.
The San Juan government transmits its condolences to family members, relatives and friends and accompanies them in this painful moment.
It is also announced that until 7:00 p.m. on the date, the following official numbers of Coronavirus cases in San Juan were recorded.

107 patients are hospitalized in the Covid-19 areas of the Dr. Guillermo Rawson hospitals;Dr. Marcial Quiroga;Dr. Ventura Lloveras, from Sarmiento;Dr. César Aguilar, from Caucete;Dr. José Giordano, from Albardón;Dr. Federico Cantoni, from Pocito;CEMEC;Dr. Julieta Lanteri;San Roque Hospital, from Jáchal;Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital, from Valle Fertil;Barreal Hospital, Calingasta;Hospital 25 de Mayo;Private hospital;Medical Institute;El Castaño Clinic;Santa Clara Clinic;San Juan and CCI Sanatorium.
Of that total, 25 patients remain admitted to the critical area, 4 of which receives mechanical respiratory assistance.
Among the boarding schools in the COVID-19 area, there is a pregnant woman and six confirmed pediatric patients from COVID-19.
