Bold brows are an enigma for people who have thin hair or hair with a light natural color, as this becomes an impediment to achieving the desired eyebrows. They try all kinds of products, such as eyebrow tint gel, colored pencil, all kinds of shadows and brands, even special liquids to support the growth of their eyebrow hair, and nothing has worked for them.

If you add to that that suddenly tragedies happen in the beauty salon -sometimes they remove more hair from one eyebrow than another- or they want to take control in their hands and experiment with the tweezers, even if they follow the advice of an expert for perfect eyebrows, sometimes they end up with a shape so thin that not even makeup helps to correct them.

The good thing is that those years have passed and now the techniques have evolved so much that it is easier to achieve the desired look without struggling (so much). Sure, new techniques are always going to be a bit of a chore at first, but that's part of knowing your facial features and the fun of figuring out what fits you and what doesn't.

The eyebrows are the frame of the face and a good thickness looks spectacular on anyone. You just have to know what is the best color that suits your natural hair tone, your curvature and that's it. Therefore, here we tell you how to achieve thick eyebrows easily so that you have that striking look that you always dreamed of.

The basics

  1. The first thing is to find where the shape of your eyebrow begins and where it ends.

  2. Line up a pencil with either of your two nostrils (depending on which side you want to start with) and your forehead, that's point A of your eyebrow.

  3. Tilt the pencil a bit towards the center of your pupil to find the arc; point b.

  4. Bring the pencil to the outer corner of your eye, creating a 45-degree angle from the side of your nose where you started; point C.

  5. Use a brow comb to brush long hairs up in the same direction as their growth, then trim the excess with small scissors.

  6. Use a white pencil to 'erase' any stray hairs that fall outside the lines, then remove them one at a time, pulling in the direction of hair growth.

  7. Take an eyebrow pencil to fill in sparse areas, using short, quick strokes.

When it comes to recreating deep arches like those of Lily Collins or Lucy Hale, the general rule of thumb is to use a pencil that is no more than two shades lighter or darker than your natural hair color. Yes, Cara Delevingne's eyebrows, for example, look spectacular against her hair, but if that look makes you a little scared, you can start with something a little calmer like a colored gel for the eyebrow, it will achieve a super look. natural.

For (very) thin eyebrows

If you have very thin eyebrows, sometimes it is difficult to find the products that can work for you to achieve bold brows. Therefore, choose a palette with both light and dark tones and shades. Apply the lightest color first, so you can fill in the spaces where you have thinner hair and in uneven areas; then add a few touches of the darker colors where needed to achieve the bold brows you want.

What is the best eyebrow shape for me?

The perfect shape for your eyebrows is the one that comes closest to your natural growth; sure, there will always be one or another stubborn hair out there, but nothing to worry about. Now, if you are guilty of 'designing' your own eyebrow and you are not sure which is the best shape for your face, go to an expert in eyebrow design, to avoid doing it yourself.

Although hair and hair grow, a poorly designed eyebrow can change your face in seconds and take weeks to grow back. Remember that a soft arch balances prominent features in heart-shaped faces like Scarlett Johansson's; oval faces, like Kim Kardashian's, can have a more angular look.
