Jelena Noura Hadid, known internationally as Gigi Hadid, was born on April 23 in Los Angeles, United States. After finishing her studies at Malibu High School she moved to New York to pursue her dream of being a model. Although she was already two years old when she did a campaign for Guess, it was not until she was 19 years old that she walked the runway and worked in campaigns as a professional model.

She debuted at New York Fashion Week in 2014 with the Spanish firm Desigual and for Jeremy Scott. She is currently the muse of millennial fashion, as many young women from all over the world follow her style and copy the trends that she wears daily. Among them, Model of the Year at the First Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards in 2015, Best Look at the TRL Awards, International Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2016 and Best Design Debut at the Third Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards in 2017.
