NEW YORK (July 22, 2019) – Ahead of the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, Atlético de Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has called 26 players to travel to the US as the team faces its preseason. The 10-time LaLiga champion will face the top figures in MLS at Exploria Stadium in Orlando on Wednesday, July 31 (8 pm ET, live on FS1, UniMás, TSN, TVA Sports).

The squad that will travel features their new stellar signings, including 19-year-old Portuguese striker João Félix and experienced Mexican World Cup player Héctor Herrera who have joined iconic figure and captain of Atlético de Madrid Koke to represent their club in the MLS All -Star Skills Challenge presented by Target, Tuesday, July 30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Among the other personalities who have traveled to the US are Álvaro Morata , a Spain national team player and acclaimed goalscorer with extensive experience in the most demanding leagues in the world; Diego Costa , a striker who enjoys a long and successful career at club level and with the Spain national team; Jan Oblak , one of the best goalkeepers on the international scene, winner of the last four Zamora trophies that credits him as the best goalkeeper in LaLiga in the last four seasons.
